David Wampach
Francia
He is a dancer and choreographer. Before starting his artistic creation, David Wampach studied medicine at the faculty of Montpellier (Fr). His experiences as a spectator led him to become interested in live performance: first in theatre, then in dance.
David Wampach multiplies his experiences by attending the training Ex.e.r.ce (2000) at the National Choreographic Centre of Montpellier, directed by Mathilde Monnier and then at the Brussels school P.A.R.T.S. of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker (2001) with the company Coline à Istres (1999). In addition, in parallel to her creations, she took part in the training in choreographic culture offered by Laurence Louppe from 2004 to 2006.
Since 2001, she has been developing an artistic process with theatrical and plastic influences coming from her path, which are inscribed in the Achles Association.
Thus, between mathematical rigour and burlesque exaggeration, David Wampach invents contrasting universes with precise challenges and problems, and behind the apparent order, the anarchic exposure of passions.
