Leandro Arecco
Playwright and screenwriter
Leandro Arecco (Buenos Aires, 1975). Scriptwriter for radio and TV, theatre director and playwright. On TV he collaborates with Javier Daulte. He wrote the series “Bios, vidas que marcaron la tuya” for NatGeo and “Diálogos fundamentales” for public TV. In theatre he directed Vermouth filosófico with Gustavo Varela at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación; he wrote and directed La gente normal at Espacio Callejón. El Cyborg at Microteatro de Buenos Aires. La Galeano with Laura Paredes. He directed No es exactamente lo mismo based on texts by Josep María Miró at Espacios no convencionales. Un lugar de oscura atracción with Pilar Gamboa for the semi-mounted cycle of the Goethe Institute. He is also a scriptwriter for Radio Nacional, and hosts the radio programme Contraluz, on Saturday afternoons on Nacional Rock. He studied Philosophy. He holds a diploma in Playwriting from the CC Paco Urondo at UBA.
