Nacho Iasparra

Nacho Iasparra was born in the city of 25 de Mayo, province of Buenos Aires, in 1973. He studied photography and contemporary art. He has been exhibiting his photographs since 1996. He has participated in collective and individual exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. His work has been published in different contemporary photography catalogs, the magazine BIG Buenos Aires, the books Rutas y Caminos, Nueva Fotografía Latinoamericana II, Fotografía Poética, Arte Contemporáneo Argentino Artista x Artista, Poéticas Contemporáneas Fondo Nacional de las Artes.
He has participated as video director in the work of Danza Video: Mi río es algo con plumas. Together with Verónica Jordan and Viviana Iasparra.
Director and producer of the film Sinuosos y dorados Médanos with Guillermo Ueno, Bruno Stecconi, Marianela Portillo and Nicolás Domínguez Bedini.
His work is part of the collection of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires (MANBA), Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA); MACRO museum in Rosario, Argentina; Statoil Collection, Norway and different private collections.
