Luc Tartar is a playwright and novelist, a fellow of the Ministry of Culture and the National Book Centre. He is the author of several novels and around twenty plays (Editions Lansman, Théâtrales, Espace 34), including S’embrasent (Embraced), Roulez jeunesse! (Let’s Take Flight!), Les yeux d’Anna (Anna’s Eyes), En découdre, Ayam, Mutin!… His plays are regularly staged in France and abroad. Luc Tartar has been translated into English, German, Spanish, Serbian, Romanian, Polish and Persian. Les ojos de Ana received the Prix de l’Inédithéâtre 2010 in France and was selected as Coup de coeur (Love at First Sight) 2014 by the association «Théâtre à la Page». The play was translated into Spanish by Humberto Pérez Mortera and into English by William Snow.
